Since 2016, they are part of Munich-based Vivonio – the Furniture Group. Vivonio - founded in 2012 - is a strategic international alliance and a major player in the European furniture market.

As of 2021, under recently installed new leadership, Noteborn is accelerating its business growth and regional expansion, while cooperatively utilizing synergy opportunities with our Danish sister company KA Interiør, thereby reinforcing our position in the made-to-measure furniture solutions market.

They are located at the Trilandis Europe business park in Heerlen, The Netherlands, in a newly built facility with in-house manufacturing, integrated product development and an appealing customer experience center.

To support this journey, they have recently decided to merge their Product Development team and their Information-and-Communication Technology team into one central department. This will enable them to drive seamless integration of product data management (in the ERP and drawing software) and product development projects. Due to the made-to-measure nature of their products and solutions, a strong cooperation between the product developers and the product configuration programmers is essential. Product configurations are programmed in the 3D drawing-and-planning software as used by their customers, while ERP master data needs to be compliant with the complex structure and combination diversity of their products. This requires the seamless integration as mentioned above.

What Noteborn asks from you
• Build and grow this recently merged multidisciplinary support team, consisting of Product Development, Master Data Management, Software Application Support, ERP Architecture Support and ICT Infrastructure Support (currently expanding from 5 to 8 FTE)
• Structure and control all departmental aspects (responsibilities, prioritization, time management, expertise development, performance management, talent management, etc.) and create a high-performing team
• Align policy for Product Development and Information-and-Communication Technology with their Noteborn 2.0 business development direction
• Create and deploy project management structures, including simple and effective planning-and-monitoring tools
• Develop and roll-out Product Development Protocol - a documented process for step-by-step product development from idea phase through post-market release assessment
• Implement user-focused ICT service platform (support-request ticketing, alignment of priorities, proactive status reporting)
• Plan and coordinate ERP-system migration project to Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Develop future-proof, user-friendly and cyber-secure ICT- and process automation landscape
• Setup alignment structures with internal stakeholders (marketing, sales, customer service, engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing and external specialists)
• Develop business network of interior design specialists and furniture solution developers and a support network of external ICT service providers

Job requirements:
• Approximately 10 years of multi-company working experience in several engineering- and project management roles in a technical product-and-production environment
• Track record of successfully leading and transforming small, multidisciplinary teams
• Broad understanding and vision about technical product development and portfolio management and about Information- and Communication Technology and business process automation, suitable for medium-size production companies
• Excellent project management expertise combined with advanced project management software user skills (Microsoft Project or similar)
• Affinity with software solutions for Product Data Management, 3D-Product Design and 3D-Planning
• Basic knowledge of ERP-systems, perhaps even real-life experience in ERP-system roll-outs or migration projects
• Broad and advanced office software expertise (Office365, Document Management, Business Intelligence reporting – e.g. Power BI)
• Bachelor degree (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design Engineering, Industrial Engineering, ICT / Software Engineering or comparable), preferably combined with advanced training or education in Project Management
• Elementary Lean Six Sigma know-how (green belt certification is a pre)
• Outstanding documenting-, reporting- and presenting skills
• Fluency in Dutch and English (oral and writing)
