Quality Manager

Functie-informatie:

We are looking for a proactive, hands-on Quality Manager who will take ownership of our quality and food safety policies. You will lead a team of 10-15 QA/QC professionals and play a key role in maintaining and improving our quality standards. This is both a strategic and operational role, where you will closely collaborate with internal departments, customers, and certification bodies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop the QA/QC team
• Manage and improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Ensure compliance with BRC, HACCP, ISO, and customer requirements
• Lead internal and external audits
• Handle customer and supplier complaints; perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Create and update quality procedures, manuals, and documentation
• Promote quality awareness across all departments
• Monitor KPIs and report risks/improvements to management
• Act as the main point of contact for auditors, clients, and authorities
• Lead food defense and crisis management activities

Requirements:

• HBO/WO degree in food technology, quality management, or a similar field
• Several years of experience in a quality management role (preferably in food, pharma, or packaging)
• Strong knowledge of BRC, HACCP, and ISO standards
• Proven team management experience
• Strong analytical skills and persuasive communication
• Fluent in Dutch and/or English
• Proficient with MS Office and QMS tools
